The Displayduino XBee Shield is an awesome new add-on board that allows MondoMatrix users to take advantage of not one – but two XBee radio controllers.

“XBee and XBee-PRO 802.15.4 OEM RF modules are embedded solutions providing wireless end-point connectivity to devices. These modules use the IEEE 802.15.4 networking protocol for fast point-to-multipoint or peer-to-peer networking. They are designed for high-throughput applications requiring low latency and predictable communication timing.”

In addition, even when the Displayduino XBee Shield is plugged into the main controller you can still pile on more Displayduino shields right on top of the XBee shield.

    Hello. I have a project coming up (deadline will be this September) and I think this unit could come in handy along side of a few of your other products. I can’t seem to find this xbee shield for sale anywhere. Is it available yet? If so – where? If not – When will it? Where will it? and how much $? Cheers and thanks.
